We are responsible to remember the lifestyle Jesus described His followers would have; leaving behind
security, money, convenience, even family for Him…take up their cross daily and follow Him.
We are so grateful to finally have the opportunity to live-out the true cost of discipleship. We have
positioned ourselves, out on the limb of faith, to seek His face in prayer, hear His directives, believing
His ways are better than ours and obeying Him with all our hearts, minds and strength.
May we, like Zacchaeus, hear Jesus say to us, “Today is My day to be a guest in your home.” Luke 19:5
- You must be born again & filled with the Holy Spirit in order to live the life God has planned for you.
- Daily study and pondering of God's word in order to obey it, is the way to freedom in Jesus.
-Daily quality time in personal prayer & weekly corporate prayer for the needs of others, including
praying for the nations of this world…from the hottest deserts, to the highest mountains, to the frozen
Arctic, to the crowded cities, every tongue, every tribe, every nation!
- You must be planted in a local body of believers, with accountability to others for proper biblical and
spiritual growth
- Our God expects His children to tithe and give offerings to support the advancement of His Kingdom.
-Making disciples is not an easy process. It is slow, tedious and even painful at times, because it
relational.
- We are to go make disciples of all nations, baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We are summoned to teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded us.
